What changes on Monday

Six things stop being your problem.

You stop babysitting software

One price with everything in it. No modules to add, no contract, nothing to tune. Set it up once and get back to the carts.

The paperwork is done before they show up

They sign the agreement and send their license and insurance from a link. Nobody signs anything on the hood of a cart.

You win the scratch argument

Every mark on every cart is logged, with photos, and renters are told about it before they book. No more he said, she said.

You stop double booking

One cart, one rental at a time, plus rest days between them. The calendar says what is out and what is free.

Every drop off has an address

The address is on the booking, not in a text you have to go find. Coolers and child seats come along with it.

Your price is the price

Your renter sees your price, then any extras they pick, then sales tax, then the total. No service fee from us. Read the promise.

The standard

Twelve things cart rental software should do. Greenlit does all twelve.

This is the bar we hold ourselves to, because it is what our own cart company needs every day. Hold your current system to it too.

Why it matters

At a concert, people blame Ticketmaster. On your booking page, they blame you.

A lot of booking software is free to you because it charges your renter instead. You quote $400. At the payment screen it says $424. Your renter has never heard of your software company. They only know whose name is at the top of the page.

And that $24 was yours to charge. If your renter will pay it, it can be part of your price, set by you and paid to you.

40%

of US online shoppers say they walked away from a checkout in the last three months because the extra costs were too high.

$24

is what a six percent service fee adds to a $400 week. It goes to the software company. It looks like it came from you.

$0

in service fees on your renter's bill. Ever. That is a promise, and it is in writing.

The 40% figure is from Baymard Institute, retrieved August 2026. It is what shoppers say about online checkouts in general. Nobody has measured this for cart rentals specifically, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Go look at your own checkout page and see what your renter sees.

Damage

Stop losing the argument about the scratch.

A cart comes back with a six inch scratch. The renter says it was already there. Sometimes they are right. Proving it is the whole ballgame.

  • Every mark is logged: where it is on the cart, how bad, and which rental it showed up on.
  • Renters are shown the known marks before they book, so it is on the record they were told.
  • They take photos before you drop it off and after you pick it up, from a link.
  • One button gives your insurance company the whole file.

See how it works

The vehicle issues screen: a cracked headlight lens marked Safety, a torn seat cushion marked Functional, and a six inch scratch on the front left fender marked Cosmetic, with a button to download the claim export.

Where we fit

Three ways to pay for booking software.

Free to you

Charged to your renter

No bill for you. A fee on your renter's, at the payment screen, on a page with your name at the top.

A little, then more

Base price, then modules, then a percentage

The starter plan looks cheap. Then you need the next tier, an add-on, and a cut of every booking. The bill grows as you do.

Greenlit

One price, paid by you

No service fee on your renter's bill. Bookings, agreements, documents, delivery, damage and your whole fleet, all in it. Set it up once and get back to the carts.

Why trust us

We rent carts too. Go look.

Greenlit was built inside Welaka Golf Carts, our own street legal cart rental business in Putnam County, Florida. It is a real company at a real address, and it runs on this every day.

We are inland, on the river. If you rent carts at the beach, we are never going to be your competition, and we will put that in writing. Our checkout promise is in writing too.

Common questions

The ones people ask first.

What does it cost?

$49 a month, flat. Every cart, every booking, every feature. See the pricing page.

Do you take a cut of my bookings?

No. You connect your own Stripe or Square and your renters pay you directly. We are not in the payment flow and we do not add a service fee to your renter's bill.

Why not use one that is free to me?

Because it is not free. Your renter pays for it, on a bill with your name at the top. If they will pay that fee, it can be part of your price, set by you and paid to you.

You rent carts. Can you see my bookings?

No, and it is the right thing to ask us. There is no screen on our side that shows your bookings, your customers or your rates. We will send you that in writing, along with a promise not to open a cart business in your area while you are a customer.

Do I have to replace my website?

No. Most people point something like book.yourbusiness.com at Greenlit and leave the rest of their site alone. If you want a new website too, we build those. Just ask.

Does it track carts with GPS?

No, on purpose. We built Greenlit to run the rental, not to watch the cart. If live tracking is the thing you need, we are not the right fit, and we would rather say so now.

Need a website too?

Your booking pages already run on your own web address. If you want the whole site built to match, we do that.

Ask us about a website

Take a look at it.

Thirty minutes on a screen share. We open the real thing, running a real fleet, and you ask whatever you want.
